BE PART

Being part of a climate community also means supporting and helping others. The challenges posed by change climate cannot be overcome in isolation.

To confront the climate crisis we need to create a new relationship with nature, which ceases to be a source of “inexhaustible” resources and begins to be appreciated as a great source of wisdom and inspiration… with valuable and limited resources that we must preserve and regenerate.

This leads us to redesign our products and services, to eradicate the notion of waste and promote efficient cycles of industrial symbiosis, where everything is transformed and nothing is wasted.

These changes must be hosted in a legal framework that defends and encourages them and a political decision that leads to this transformation.

Likewise, it implies a cultural change which starts with education from the first years of life to adulthood because a transformation like the one we need requires that we be able to relearn much of what we believed to be “indisputable” to give opportunity to other points of view and ways of life that nourish us with well-being.

Most importantly, it needs active, informed, and committed communities that are encouraged to change and are the driving force behind this transformation.

Therefore, this climate crisis it sets a limit for us. A turning point in a paradigm that not only causes harm to our natural environment, keeps us captive of a life dissociated from nature and of our essence, where inequality, social, environmental, economic and human imbalance predominates.

Therefore, we need a systemic approach. There are no biases regarding an issue like climate change that transcends everything.

We need you. Wherever you come from, we invite you to add your contribution. In exchange, sharing, and collaborating, the courses of action that we identify will always be more effective the more wills that have come together in their design.

Governments

Governments are key players. We fight to generate valuable content through practical tools and training so that climate action is a transversal issue and a State policy. Climate change requires that people who make decisions in the public arena know what the climate crisis is about and can act from their place. From the International Network of Local Governments for Sustainability (RIGLOS) we offer free assistance, training and contacts to empower local governments to take action on environmental matters. In addition, we offer different types of training and workshops for all levels, many of which are in the process of approval in accordance with Law 27,592, better known as Yolanda Law.

Companies

Companies are key actors in the protection and care of the environment. They have historically led innovation, which is why, in the fight against climate change, they are the strategic ally to scale the impact.
How do we work with companies? The private sector can act “outwards” to generate an impact on the environment: supporting our work to go further; funding climate action projects for vulnerable communities; developing joint initiatives that contribute to the adaptation and mitigation of climate change; promoting access to sustainability training for teachers and students; participating in our scholarship and exchange programs, among others. And you can also act “inwards”: taking training to build capabilities among your teams, promoting the review of your production processes, products and services to adapt them to a sustainable model; analyzing its possibilities for the construction of new innovative business models; co-creating your sustainability roadmaps…
Therefore, at Warm Argentina, we accompany companies and SMEs in this change; there is much to do!

Entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurship is the disruptive engine of the innovative ecosystem. Those new ideas that come to transform everything, those people who take risks for a dream, we want to support them.

We offer you support, training and contacts so you can carry out your idea and turn it into a successful company with a positive environmental impact.

Educational institution

Education at all levels needs to address climate change transversally. We have to train to transform! At Warm Argentina we have developed courses and training for teachers and students that not only address the structural content of the climate crisis; They teach to think systemically, to ask questions, to work on these topics from any subject so that environmental content is not segregated to the natural sciences. We work and teach systemic analysis methodologies, so that we can co-create knowledge and innovate together.
